The projetA will of opening towards Europe
We have observed: a certain disinterest of cultural places by the local population, lack of knowledge of the cultural and natural heritage, also an intellectual approach became modified by the practice of video games, students lost the taste of the victory after the effort they put in it, loss of confidence, among the children with difficulties, group work isn’t as easy as it used to be, exclusion appears more often, a girl / boy inequality problem, an increase in school dropouts.
The institutions want to create a unifying and formative event around an original and cultural approach so each institution will set up an annual cultural workshops or events involving students and teachers.
The workshops will then be pooled to make a single document. This final product will be presented in a digital form with thematic entries: dance, architecture, visual arts, photos, video, theater.
Each theme will be developed by the partner schools. A final activity integrated into the digital document will allow partners to test ‘benchmarks’ in European culture.
The articulation of actions and the sharing of practices will be a common achievement, but different in its implementation. On the other hand, each school group will share its experiences in artistic education. The sharing of methods, approaches connected with project actions will enrich the pedagogical approach of each partners school.
The main stages
months to work together
Then, each partner will propose original artistic activities specific to its country. Partner institutions will experiment with the proposals.
In parallel, the creation of the cultural route will take place. The exchange of practices between teachers will guide the progress of the project. During mobilities ” children who become ‘’ambassadors of their country” will work with their friends.
A two-year project
4-5-day periods for children’s mobilities, combined with teacher training periods
A travelling exhibition at each meeting
Exchanges of work via the internet, Etwinning platform
Project presentations and follow-up events to local partners (municipalities, associations, parents, hierarchy)
Cultural events (artists’ residency, practical workshops, visit)
The creation of the course in digital form.
A dissemination plan, a close relationship with the press
Activity books: PowerPoint, videos
For most children it will be the first step towards the European citizen approach. We hope, this will eliminate prejudice and improve social relations in schools. The children will apprehend their life differently, they will gain confidence, it will help them in everyday learning. Teachers will have better knowledge of the European education system. They will develop their practical skills. Such challenging project will unite all the staff of the school as well as the municipality and will create a real collective dynamics.
